the trip to the Mega Wedding Expo was eye opening.
it also hit me with the fact that we are getting married in 2 years time.
and time is going by way too fast.

even though we are getting married in 2 years time, some "people" still think that we are delaying our wedding!
first of all, have they ever asked the most important questions?
for e.g, where will we be staying after we get married, FYI, our house will only be ready late 2014! and most importantly, do we have the $$$ to hold a wedding??
haiz.. all these people only know how to "TALK" but never think before talking! hmph!

getting married is no easy feat leh.
need thousand and thousand of dollars. kalau aku nie towkay takpe jugak!
ingat aper! gaji kita nie beribu ribu ke!

currently stressed out because of all this $$$ issue.
where the hell am i gonna get thousands of dollars for the wedding and house??
huh? huh?

if only all of us in this world do not need to get married. how great would that be.
or maybe i should just win the lottery?? dream on la. if only it was that easy.
hahahah!

Convention Centre or Mustafa Centre

sunday morning intentions was to get a $88 42" TV from the Electronics Fair at Suntec City Convention Centre.
Little did we know that the Convention Centre turned out to be more like Mustafa Centre with all the Foreigners around.
The Q itself for the items was like a ten-mile long snake even though the event hall was not open yet.
We thought we were early enough by arriving at 10 am. even stopped by starbucks for breakfast and coffee.
We were wrong! we were LATE! i literally thought that they actually camped out there the night before! hahaha!
With all the shouting and commotion going on, the way people were being treated, i told myself no way am i going through this crowd and CRAP just for a TV that i might not even get to buy if it's sold out.
Forget it man!

of course! next thing that came to mind. WINDOW-SHopping at City Square. Home for LUNCH- Mum's cooking.
a home movie in the afternoon.
planning to go to Courts to look for a TV.
dinner first at IKEA Tampines.
Chix Wings, Mushroom Soup & Meatballs! Delish!

hunt for TV begins.
all $1500 and above! *fainting spells begins*
i thought i was gonna go bankrupt in like a second in Courts for a TV! hahahha!
luckily De spotted a 42" TV selling for half price.

No.4 - Save money to go on yet another holiday. - saving up for a holiday in MAY!

No.5 - Do something different with my hair. - full on colour & higlights done!

No.6 - Save up for my DREAM WEDDING in 2 to 3 years time. - still a long way of saving to go!

No.7 - Save up for my DREAM HOME! - already purchased a dream house! waiting for it to be ready in 2014! Still saving up for renovations.

No.8 - Save up for my DREAM HONEYMOON. - hmm.. haven't even decided where i want to go.

No.9 - Excel in my CAREER. - not smooth sailing. with all the bloody politics in the office. : (

in 3 days, my FB and Hotmail account has been compromised 2 times!
what the hell do they want from my FB and Hotmail ???

it freaking iritating sia!
such trouble to actually reactivate and revalidate my accounts.
just because these Hackers decided to log in to my account too many times with the wrong password after i actually reset it the day before !!!!

but then again. maybe she deserved this treatment from you. maybe after all that she has done. there's no turning back or salvaging what's left of the friendship. after years of not even bothering to call or text to say hi. suddenly out of nowhere she wants to be best friends again.totally unacceptable. so what is it that she wants from you after all this while? i don't really know myself. coz i'm not sure myself what she wants from me after all these years of not seeing and talking to each other.

Situation No. 1

Have you ever been asked a favour or help but u don't know whether you should say Yes or No?
Well it happens to me quite a lot.
It's like i know that i should say Yes. But sometimes you have to say No.
It's so that they are not dependant on you.
Sometimes you wonder, is it becausae they know that you always say Yes,
that they always come back to you asking for more.
But in the end, i will always end up saying Yes.
I just can't say No. Especially if it's against my conscience.
And especially if i know tha they really need the help.
Even if it's beyond my means.
I will still say Yes.
It's just ME.

Situation No. 2

Have you ever been told something by someone which you don't know whether it may be True or False?
Well it has happen to me quite a few times too.
I know that i can't believe just anything that others feed to my brains.
But somehow, you don't know if it's right to ask the person concerned.
It's like you don't even know whether you am in the position to ask or intervene in the matter.
You are afraid that the person may not like the idea of you being the one asking them.
Thinking that the person might say "who are you to ask me that".
But you know that in order to know if it's True or False, & to resolve the matter.
you have to hear both sides of the story.
And being me, even though i know that i may get hurt in the process of trying to help someone.
or know that i may be dissed at for thinking that i am in the position of asking that person whether the matter is True or False.
i will still go through with it.
because for me if by me being the bad person or the person that's gonna be dissed at is going to help resolve matters, i wouldn't mind.
as long as it helps my loved ones be more happy and have no resentments against each other.
i will gladly volunteer myself to do it.
it's just ME.

in my almost 8 months working here,
yesterday was the first day that i took a medical leave.
it wasn't because i was really feeling unwell.
apart from the usual everyday aches on my left shoulder.
it's just that i was not in the mood to work. heh!

i spent the rest of my day shopping for birthday presents for all the belated and coming birthdays!

Depressing News!

i am starting on a new programmmes which requires me to take my weight.
i have always been dodging when it comes to taking my weight measurement.
because i was afraid of the number that would come up on the scale.
yesterday, i took the courage and finally stepped up on the machine.
BOY! was i suprised! OMG!
and to be honest, it was depressing! ; (
i somehow knew that it would be way over my ideal weight,
but never did i realise that it would be this severe.
it was devastating to see the numbers on the scale.
nevertherless, i am determined to shed all those unwanted and not needed kilos!
so from now on, i must discipline myself to stick with the programme.
time for more walking and skipping every night!
i'm gonna work hard towards a healthier ME!

i tot that i could keep up with blogging..
but apparently NOT!
it's been a while since i last blogged.
so much happened over the last week.
i did what i tot was best to allow me to move on with my life.
i did what i tot i would never do in my life.
i learnt that i need to let go of the past in order to move forward.
the past will still haunt me but it is in my power to not let it affect me.
i try my best to control my anger as best as i could.
i put trust back into the hands of the person that i loved most with hopes that he will not hurt me again.
i found a true friend in times of need but actually it was there all along only we didnt realise it.
i learnt to accept the reality about myself.
nobody's perfect including me..
others have gone thru more pain and sorrows than me.
that i truly learned.
until today i am still trying to find my true self..
to let go of all the anger and guilt inside of me..
wish me luck coz i have a long way to go.

Sunday was "laze at home" day..

started off great except for the never going away COUGH!

afternoon received the not so good news...
my childhood fren has been missing for twelve days...!
OMG!
& her bf and family members are all worried for her..!

i never expected her to do the things that she did..
it's sad when poeple you know become people you knew..
or worst they become people that you never knew before..
it's like they are a totally different person..

nevertherless..
my WELL WISHES for her & loved ones...

my never going away COUGH is getting worse..

i decided to go the A&E for a check up...
& u know what the MO said to me..
i am not SICK! & even has the decency to ask me
what i wanted by coming to see HIM!
WTF!
obviously.. i need medication for my COUGH!
DUH!!!

i definitely was not a HAPPY CAMPER!

on top of that..
i may even have to pay the $85 attendance fee..
as my staff privilges has not been activated yet..
MORE PISSED!

never going to the A&E again...!

i have been M.i.A from my blog for a week now..!!

it's all because of the 2 day orientation that i had this week..

and adding to that is the "not working" PC at work...

it took them two days to come down & fix my PC..

slow kapper!

the orientation was a torture..

mainly the TALKs were a Torture!

half the class fell asleep..

other than that..

the Tour around and Companions that i had were awesome!

2 nights ago. . .

i met up with Adic, her sista and frens for Karaoke..

been a long time since i did that..

so it was FUN. . . !

it's the end of the week now..

looking forward to the Weekends..!

last weekend was spent with Boyfren Pre-celebrating his Birthday..

we had High Tea at Carousel..

which was a disappointment..

the food variety was bad..!

except for the all time favourite

"Bread & Butter Pudding with Vanilla Sauce"

that was the Best!

after that was 2 hours of Wii at Cineleisure...

followed by a game of Pool at Bugis...

Damn Expensive..!

but fou u Boyfren . . . it's OK. . . !

Disappointment.

OMG!

i am so disappointed with TCC's service..

i wanted to order a cake for boyfren's birthday celebration tomorrow..

he really wanted the Mango Diva cake from TCC..

and until now they still haven't got back to me with regards to the cake..

so now, there's no Mango Diva for him tomorrow..

he'll be disappointed..

and i am disappointed right now..

i was so unhappy that i decided to write a letter of complaint to TCC..

this was what i wrote...

"I would like to address an issue that happened with one of your boutiques located at the International Building.

I made a call on Monday dated 29 November to request an order of a whole cake, Mango Diva in particular. One of the staff answered the call and i told him that i needed the cake on this Saturday. So he told me to call back 2 days before the day that i wanted to collect the cake to make the order.

With that in mind, i called back on Wednesday, the 1st of December thinking that since i needed the cake on Saturday the 4th of December, the timing should be sufficient.

So i made another call on the 1st December to place an order for my cake. Another staff answered the call and she's telling me that they are only taking orders for the log cakes instead. I asked her are you sure you do not take orders for the Mango Diva whole cake because a staff told me on Monday to call back two days later to order the cake for Saturday? She answered me by saying she will check for me and get back to me. She even took down my name and telephone number. And told me that she will return my call with regards to the order of the cake.

Until today, the 3rd of December 2010, she still has not returned my call to verify my order and queries.

I am utterly disappointed with the service that your staffs have provided. I need the cake tomorrow and still she hasn't returned my call. The reason that i wanted the Mango Diva cake in particular is because my fiancé wanted that specific Mango Diva Cake for his birthday. And now his birthday is tomorrow and I do not have that cake which he wanted on hand.

This is a terrible disappointment.

I hope that you would take this feedback into consideration and address this matter.
